Terms
Your keys, your trades, your call.
Desk is software that reads markets and helps you trade on them. It never holds your money. These are the terms for using the app, the web app, the API and the plugin for ChatGPT and Claude.
Effective 28 October 2026.
What Desk is
Desk is an iPhone app, a web app at trydesk.trade, a public API, and a plugin that lets assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude read Desk’s market data. By using any of them you agree to these terms.
Desk is software. It is not a bank, broker, exchange, custodian or investment adviser, and it never holds your funds. Trades happen on venues Desk connects to, such as Perpl on Monad, and settle on public blockchains.
You must be 18 or older to trade with Desk, and you are responsible for following the laws where you live.
Your keys
Your wallet comes from a passkey on your device. Desk never sees your keys and can’t recover them. If you lose your passkey and its backup, nobody can restore access to your funds, including us.
Every trade, transfer and copy rule you confirm is yours. Transactions on a blockchain can’t be reversed.
Trading risk
Perpetual futures are leveraged. A small move against you can liquidate a position and you can lose everything you put in. Copying another trader copies their losses too, and a copy can fill at a different price than theirs, or not at all.
Venues, bridges and networks can be slow, congested or down. Desk can’t promise an order is filled, a stop is triggered or a transfer arrives at a given time.
Information, not advice
Everything Desk shows, in the app, the API or an assistant, is market information: prices, positions, holdings, trading records, risk ratings and rankings. None of it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
The data comes from blockchains and outside services and can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Risk ratings are checks against rules, not guarantees. A trader’s or a wallet’s past results don’t predict their next trade. Make your own decisions.
The API and the plugin
The API and the plugin are read-only and free to use within their rate limits. Please don’t try to get around those limits, overload the service, resell its data as your own service, or use it to harass anyone. We may limit or block traffic that does.
Answers an assistant gives using Desk’s data are written by that assistant, not by Desk. We may change, pause or retire endpoints and tools.
Services Desk relies on
Desk relies on services it doesn’t run, including Perpl, Monad nodes, OKX, 0x, Relay and others listed on the privacy page. Their own terms apply to what they do, and Desk isn’t responsible for them.
No warranty
Desk is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Desk and the people who build it aren’t liable for trading losses, missed trades, data that turns out to be wrong, or any indirect or consequential loss from using Desk.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new effective date, and the repository history shows exactly what changed. Questions go through the contact on the support page.
